NOW OPEN!

The Lawrence Tool Library (LTL) is a free pilot project of the non-profit Lawrence Creates Makerspace (LCM). At least initially, the LTL will be available for LCM Members Only. The library will help the community by lending tools for home, yard, automotive, art projects, and other projects. We welcome suggestions to improve the library.

We need more tools, so if you have unused tools in your basement or garage, please consider donating them to the tool library! If you can help, please email tools@lawrencecreates.com,

Membership in the Lawrence Tool Library is free for Makerspace members. Members of the LCM can sign up for LTL membership on this site. When you select a tool, you will come in during library hours to pick up tool from the Tool Librarian.

On your INITIAL visit you will need to complete a member information form, sign a liability waiver and policy acknowledgment form, and make a one-time tool deposit or sign a debit/credit card authorization. Deposits will cover the cost of lost or unreturned tools, and be returned when membership ceases.

We are excited to start this pilot project and watch it grow!

To join Lawrence Creates Makerspace, please sign up at lawrencereates.com. The Lawrence Creates Makerspace costs just $20 per month, plus a one-time $20 initiation fee, and is open 24x7 to members.

If you have creative skills you can share with others by offering classes, for which you keep 100% of the course fee, your membership will more than pay for itself.
